CIPD Northern Ireland HR Awards

Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence   

APPLICATIONS are open for the 2022 CIPD Northern Ireland Awards.

Now in their 10th year, the awards, from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), celebrate the best of HR and people management, and the contribution to the success of public, private and third sector organisations in Northern Ireland.  

This year’s awards comprise of 14 categories, including awards for individuals, teams and organisations. There are new awards for employee voice, resourcing, and apprenticeships, reflecting the increased focus on these in the new world of work, plus a new rising star category for mid-career professionals. 

The 2022 categories are: 

  • Best HR student  
  • Best change management initiative 
  • Best hybrid and flexible working initiative 
  • Best people team 
  • Best health and wellbeing initiative 
  • Best L&D/OD initiative 
  • Best employee voice initiative (new) 
  • Best inclusion and diversity initiative 
  • Best external consultancy 
  • Best resourcing and talent initiative (new) 
  • Best apprenticeship scheme (new) 
  • Rising star of the people profession (new) 
  • Excellence in HR leadership  

There is also a prestigious award for Outstanding contribution in the field of people development in Northern Ireland, which is chosen by the judging panel. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Titanic Belfast on Thursday October 6.
