Exploring the role of HR shaping work and working lives in NI

FROM the challenges of AI and technology, to supporting health and wellbeing and addressing skills shortages, today’s workplaces are constantly evolving to meet new challenges.

The CIPD Northern Ireland Conference Annual Conference 2024 at the ICC in Belfast on Tuesday April 30 will feature more than 25 speakers sharing insights into the future of work, and how to create workplaces where everyone can thrive.

Lee Ann Panglea, Head of the CIPD in Northern Ireland said: “With two third of tickets already sold, the conference is on track to be the CIPD’s largest ever conference in Northern Ireland. 

We look forward to welcoming more than 300 people professionals to the ICC Belfast at the end of next month to explore how we can work together to make work and working lives better for everyone.”

Speakers include CIPD Chief Executive, Peter Cheese, an international thought leader on the world of work, best-selling author and comedian, Gavin Oattes and writer and podcast host, Cally Beaton.

The programme also features people professionals from leading organisations including Danske Bank, Department for the Economy, Inspire Wellbeing, Catalyst, Northern Ireland Water, First Derivative, Babcock, Hastings Hotels and many more.

The keynote panel session will focus on the importance of embracing AI to enhance performance, improve employee experience and instil fairness and transparency, with speakers from Mosaic Group, Lewis Silkin and the CIPD.
