Vacancies Still Up For Grabs In ’30 Nurses In 30 Days’ Campaign

17th September 2013

Time is running out for health professionals who want to be part of the 30 Nurses in 30 Days challenge set down by specialist employment agency Lucas Love.
Just over half way through and already the agency has recruited 17 nurses – and found five of them permanent positions.
The organisation is working to fill 30 nursing vacancies in September, jobs which are the result of new positions created by the range of private healthcare providers that Lucas Love Healthcare represents across Northern Ireland.
Sinead Polland, nurse manager, Lucas Love Healthcare, said: “We have been overwhelmed with the response to the campaign so far and are well on target to meeting our goal of 30 nurses.
“I would like to welcome all of our new nurses and we look forward to helping them on the road to a prosperous career. A big thank you has to go to NIJobfinder for their continued support”.
The first nurse to join the agency through the campaign said: “I had been looking for a staff nurse position using several nursing agencies over the last few months. When I saw the Lucas Love Healthcare campaign online I gave the agency a call and it was most productive phone call I have ever made.

“The agency made arrangements for several interviews and the consultant attended each with me, offering much needed support and guidance on the day.
“I went to the interviews with no expectation of securing a role but actually secured two positions and had a choice – the role I choose is also a promotion from my previous job!
If you are a nurse or healthcare professional seeking fulltime or temporary employment join the campaign by visiting www.lucaslovehealthcare.com or contact one of the team for an interview on 028 9066 8035.
