THE Irish Football Association has appointed Sara Booth (above) as Tournament Director for the UEFA Women’s Under 19 Championship.
This major event, taking place in Northern Ireland between August 8-21, 2017, will welcome the seven best teams in Europe with Northern Ireland making up the eighth team.
Sara’s multifaceted role will involve collaborating across all the departments of the Irish Football Association and liaising with local government, UEFA and other key stakeholders.
As a former Northern Ireland international football captain, Sara has spent the last 13 years working in women’s football development for the Irish Football Association in Northern Ireland
