New employee wellness programme – Holistic Retreatz

27th April 2021

A Northern Ireland wellness company has expanded with the launch of a new service to help local employers create a strategic wellbeing plan for employees.

Holistic Retreatz has been developed by early years wellness company, Holistic Kidz, and the team of qualified wellness coaches will offer a wide range of options to help businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes in the private, public and charitable sectors create a bespoke plan including Relaxation Classes, Interactive Wellness Classes and Webinars, Guided Meditation, Rejuvenation Retreatz and Grounding and Breathing Exercises.

It has secured one of the world’s leading professional services business, Herbert Smith Freehills, as one of its first clients and the programmes can be delivered online or in person adhering to the current government guidelines at all times.

Founder of Holistic Retreatz, Colette McCartney said: “The last year has seen employers and employees face lots of challenges and stresses but hopefully we are starting to come out of this turbulent time.

We have all had different experiences over the last 13 months, for example, parents have felt the pressure of juggling working from home and home-schooling, single people have spent a lot of the time alone and most of us have been separated from family and friends and now that businesses are beginning to reopen and people are returning to work, there has never been a more important time for employers to recognise the importance of investing in the well-being of their staff and help them to adjust to life after lockdown.

“I am delighted to launch Holistic Retreatz and offer a unique approach to employee wellness. We will work with local businesses and organisations to help them create a bespoke programme that recognises the different individual requirements of all team members. The services and techniques we offer are proven to build resilience and compassion, boost concentration and creativity, prevent and eliminate poor mental health, increase emotional intelligence and confidence and improve energy levels and sleep patterns.”

She added: “What’s more, if your business has a strategic wellbeing plan in place, the results can be directly related to the organisation’s performance as you will no doubt experience an increase in productivity, staff morale and will also find it easier to attract and retain staff.

We’re looking forward to working with businesses and organisations across Northern Ireland to help them create a plan that works for them and their teams to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the positive benefits associated with introducing activities that promote wellbeing in the workforce.”

Holistic Retreatz also gives businesses the option to extend the programme to include Employee Family Wellbeing with an exciting offering for children, parents and families including Outdoor Forest Camp, Wellness Courses for Parents and Family Meditation.
