Northern Ireland’s up and coming student fashionistas have been celebrating in style as they mark the end of term.
Fashion students, hair and beauty stylists, performing artists and industry experts all came together recently for Belfast Met’s spectacular end of year fashion show.
The glamorous occasion, held in the Andrews Gallery in the Titanic Building, was an opportunity for the college’s fashion students to showcase their high quality and creative designs.
But it was very much a team event too with fashion students calling upon the talents of their fellow performing arts and hair and beauty course colleagues.
Grainne McGowan, fashion and textile lecturer at Belfast Met said: “The end of year fashion show at the Titanic Signature Building was a great opportunity for our students to showcase their collections and passion not only in an incredible location, but also to those from the fashion industry.
“The level of preparation and dedication by all of the staff and students prior to the event was of a very high standard, making this show very successful.”

The fashion and textiles department at Belfast Metropolitan College receives support throughout the academic year from Douglas and Grahame, the Society of Colourists and Dyists, and the Equality Commission.
The Met is the largest college of further and higher education in Northern Ireland with approximately 30,000 enrolments.
