CHARITY CHAMPIONS STAFF from the Progressive Building Society have helped raise over £110,000 for 14 local charities in 2015.
Staff from the institute’s branches and the head office in Belfast hosted a series of events to significantly exceed the pledge it gave in February 2015 of donating a minimum of £70,000 to the charities within the calendar year.
The charities who benefited included Alzheimer’s Society, Cardiac Risk in the Young (C.R.Y.), NI Hospice, Down’s Syndrome Association, Tinylife, Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI, Action MS, Cancer Fund for Children, P.I.P.S, Chest Heart & Stroke, Macmillan, Marie Curie and Simon Community.
