PAYMENT technologies provider Cayan has encouraged its employees in Belfast to down tools and ‘hack’.
Its innovative trans-Atlantic three-day Hackathon offers Cayan’s team of software engineers the chance to work on anything they consider to be useful, fun or cool.
Going head-to-head with colleagues in Cayan’s Boston HQ, the engineers build, code and hack into the future of payments possibilities by problem-solving, streamlining a process or exploring an idea.
This year’s Hackathon saw Cayan launch its employee exchange programme, which encourages Belfast employees to switch places with American counterparts throughout the year to promote collaboration and idea-sharing.
