Campaign Aims To Fill 30 Nursing Jobs In 30 Days

17th September 2013

An innovative campaign to fill 30 nursing vacancies in the next 30 days is being launched in Belfast today.

Led by specialist healthcare and domiciliary recruitment agency Lucas Love, the jobs span private healthcare providers across Northern Ireland

Speaking at the launch Sinead Polland, manager, Lucas Love Healthcare, said: “We are committed to recruiting 30 nurses throughout September – helping local healthcare providers build strong teams to care for some of our most vulnerable and in turn enhancing private healthcare services in the region.

“The campaign is aimed at encouraging all nurses to explore new opportunities, gain experience and better job prospects, obtain flexible working and earn more money.

“We look forward to meeting new nursing staff and assisting them in developing their careers. Our long term aim is to have a team of professional nurses that can enter any environment with ease, meaning that they can deliver the excellent care our clients demand.

“We are also offering our current staff a £50 incentive if they refer a professional colleague, giving our employees the opportunity to benefit from this campaign.”

The announcement was welcomed by staff nurse, Sharon Jenkins: “As a current nurse with Lucas Love Healthcare, I highly recommend working with the agency.

“Working with a range of clients gives me the opportunity to learn and develop on the job and no day is ever the same. I receive excellent rates of pay, free training and uniforms, flexible working hours, paid holidays and exceptional support from the Lucas Love Healthcare team.”

The company provides both permanent and temporary staff to over 20 healthcare groups across the province and the vacancies to be filled span a range of nursing areas including, care of people learning disabilities and mental health issues.
