Belfast owned recruitment agency VANRATH are giving one local STEM student the opportunity to win £500 in their cash giveaway.
Northern Ireland has a high performing education system, and home to two world renowned universities, both who are placed in the top 500 in the world. Northern Ireland is producing the highest number of STEM graduates anywhere in the United Kingdom with 56.7% of students enrolling in a STEM subject compared to the UK average of 44.6%.
Northern Ireland is becoming a hot spot for students, with enrolment numbers continuing to rise year on year. There are job opportunities across all areas of the jobs market in Northern Ireland but there is higher demand in occupations relating to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
As the world becomes increasingly technology dependent it is anticipated that the range of businesses emerging around the STEM areas will grow significantly.

Having worked closely with STEM students and universities in the past we felt that we wanted to give back to our young people, after what has been a tough 2020 for them.”
