Teleperformance Do Their Share To Show They Care

24th June 2016

The Teleperformance team in Bangor love to raise money for great causes. In the past seven months alone, they’ve raised an impressive £6,500. This money has been donated to a wide range of local and national charities – from Special Olympics Northern Ireland, to Cash for Kids, the Salvation Army and more.

Now, their commitment to supporting charities has been recognised. Verego has awarded Teleperformance with the coveted enterprise-wise certification for Social Responsibility (SRS). This is a big honour. SRS is the world’s only, full-scope certifiable corporate responsibility standard. It lets the whole planet see what a difference Teleperformance people make.

Stephen Morrow, Operations Director of Teleperformance in Northern Ireland, oversees the company’s three contact centres in Bangor, Newry and Enniskillen. Between these sites, Teleperformance employs over 2,000 people. Stephen is very familiar with their shared efforts to support vulnerable people and communities.

“Our people love to work with the local communities,” he notes. “They enjoy putting their excellent communication skills to good use by raising money for charities and community groups.”

Stephen recognises that these qualities have played a big part in Teleperformance’s successful growth. “The company has expanded considerably here because of the calibre of our employees and our high standards of customer service,” he explains.

He adds, “Our business is all about communication and that skill comes quite naturally to people in Northern Ireland. We as a local business attract good people and we keep good people.”

Because of our growth, Teleperformance is often recruiting for contact centre roles with a human touch. You can discover more about a great place to work, and apply today at teleperformanceukcareers.co.uk.
