A NORTHERN Ireland employer is using a unique initiative to drive business and boost staff morale and motivation.
Firstsource Solutions, which employs over 2,000 people across three sites in Belfast and Londonderry, has set up an in-house choir to improve personal development and wellbeing amongst its employees.
The ‘Inspire choir’ was originally introduced to engage staff, improve customer experience and the quality of services delivered for clients. Although relatively new, the choir has already attracted close to 100 employees across the three sites performing at different occasions on a regular basis.
Speaking on the positive benefits the choir has brought to the business, Laura Hourican, HR general manager for
Firstsource, said: “The choir is an excellent example of how a business can deliver measurable results for clients and engage with its workforce more effectively.
