PENINSULA Care Services have welcomed 31 new employees to the business. The new jobs were created at the start of the year as part of a recruitment drive and coincided with the opening of Peninsula’s new offices and training academy in Newtownards.

Part of the Lakesmere Group specialises in providing experienced and trained care and nursing staff in the field of domiciliary care and temporary staff cover for other health care sites. The new recruits bring the total number of employ-ees to 175.
Peninsula’s managing director Jonny Cook credited his staff with the company’s success and continued development. He said: “With Peninsula, it really is about the ‘people’ and it’s the staff who are driving this business forward and going the extra mile.
“I am very proud of the team, their achievements and their commitment to the success of the company.”
