MCS Group are exclusively looking for a Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing company based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in Belfast and have multiple sites across NI, UK, Europe and Africa. They manufacture and supply a range of products for their global customer base and have invested heavily in research & development. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to recruit a Financial Controller to oversee their finance function.

The Role:

As the successful Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight for the finance function;
• Oversight for group management accountants & reporting;
• Preparation of budgets & forecasts;
• Lead the annual audit process;
• Provide financial analysis of investments;
• Continuous improvement of financial controls and processes;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Financial Controller will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience;
• Previous relevant industry experience;
• Previous managerial experience;
• Strong commercial awareness.
