Network Operations Center 3rd Line

MCS Group is seeking a seasoned Network Operations Engineer to join a global FinTech powerhouse based here in Belfast Northern Ireland. In this role you will act as a senior point of escalation, troubleshooting issues across a wide variety of network devices in a multi vendor environment, but be predominantly tasked with end to end project work for business critical production environments.

The role

• Resolve complex networking issues, working across vendor agnostic network devices
• Get involved in critical network projects
• Configure, monitor and deploy state of the art Firewalls
• Seek improvements across a global IT estate

Needed to succeed

• CCNP, or the experience to evidence your knowledge of this area of IT
• The ability to operate at a high technical level, and within a busy environment
• Must have Firewall and ideally load balancing experience
• Juniper, or Cisco experience is preferred but any in depth knowledge across networking kit is required
