Supply Chain Manager

Bela Recruitment is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to work in Northern Ireland.

Lead the supply chain team by driving excellence in all daily activity.
This newly created role is a senior appointment and vital to ensure end-to-end supply chain process is effective and continues to improve.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of the full supply chain practices, constantly reviewing and improving.
Negotiating, monitoring, and improving performance, while ensuring cost controls.
Analysing data, identify and solve issues and create alternative plans.
Lead & manage the team, ensuring excellent performance, accountability and business objectives are met.
Secure critical path management across all supply chain processes to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements
· Degree educated in Supply Chain or Material Management or related subject.
· Ideally 10+ years relevant experience in supply chain, with min 5+ years management experience, including people development & management.
· Strong experience in material management, supplier relationship management, demand planning and forecasting.
· Expert knowledge in logistics/freight forwarding and customs clearance processes.#
· Strong IT skills across an ERP system/planning/forecasting or relevant software and MS suite.
· Project management qualification such as Prince2, Agile or similar.
