Bela Recruitment is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer, based in the Dungannon area, Co.Tyrone Northern Ireland.
Salary - £35,000 - £45,000
Location - Dungannon area. You MUST already live within a reasonable commuting distance, don't apply if living outside of NI.

Responsibilities
· Work with 2 others engineers to create strong designs, project planning, analysing & improving mechanical systems and components and support for workshop staff on technical issues daily.
· Using SolidWorks create product and installation drawings.
· Prepare 2D Layout drawings using AutoCAD.
· Prepare Bills of Materials.
· Work with customers, management, and workshop, to plan projects.
· Specify, quote and order materials.
· Support R&D projects, product improvements and learn new technologies.
· Preparing CNC programs for Plasma and Tube Cutter.
Requirements
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
· Proficiency in SolidWorks & CAD is preferred or a strong desire to learn these.
· Familiarity with logic controllers and system design.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge of standard drafting practices and procedures.
· A team player with great communications skills and ability to support workshop staff.
This job can be either all design work OR a mix of design and other duties such as planning, procurement, workshop support, project work etc.
