Starting asap Part-time Medical Receptionist required for practice based BT15, this is a temporary position with the view to becoming permanent. Reporting to the Practice Manager duties will include the following
Duties
- Meeting & greeting patients to the surgery
- Answer telephone calls
- Organising appointments
- Organising prescriptions
- Liaising with hospitals
- Passing on results to patients
- General administration.
Criteria
- Previous experience in a customer facing reception role is essential
- Previous experience in a Health Service/ GP Surgery advantageous
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Fully computer literate
- 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths @ grade A-C or equivalent
- Experience of complaint handling
32 hrs pw Tues, Wed 8.30am – 5pm, Thurs & Fri 8.30am - 6pm
£11.73 per hour with on-site parking
