Starting asap Part-time Medical Receptionist required for practice based BT15, this is a temporary position with the view to becoming permanent. Reporting to the Practice Manager duties will include the following

Duties

  • Meeting & greeting patients to the surgery
  • Answer telephone calls
  • Organising appointments
  • Organising prescriptions
  • Liaising with hospitals
  • Passing on results to patients
  • General administration.

Criteria

  • Previous experience in a customer facing reception role is essential
  • Previous experience in a Health Service/ GP Surgery advantageous
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Fully computer literate
  • 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths @ grade A-C or equivalent
  • Experience of complaint handling

32 hrs pw Tues, Wed 8.30am – 5pm, Thurs & Fri 8.30am - 6pm

£11.73 per hour with on-site parking
