MCS Group is delighted to be assisting a key client source an interim Accounts Assistant for a period of 8 months. Immediate need.
Role based fully onsite - Mallusk area.
OUTLINE OF ROLE
This role will provide support to the Financial Controller in a number of areas including:
- Vendor payments
- Cross Border VAT
- Supplier payments and management of the purchase ledger
- Lodgements including cash and credit card reconciliations
- Clearing cheques
- Holiday cover for colleagues
- Audit assistance
- Assisting colleagues with any other work required in the department
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT
The candidate will likely have some or all of the following:
- Intermediate excel skills
- Ability to work independently to tight deadlines
- Accounts payable experience, minimum 2 years
- Experience processing a high volume of invoices on different ledgers in multi currencies
