Environmental Health Officer

MCS group are delighted to be working with a fantastic Public Sector organisation in their search for an Environmental Health Officer on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be part of the local services team, supporting the Senior EHO in achieving the objectives and unit business plans.

The Role:

• Perform enforcement, investigation, education, and advisory tasks.
• Collaborate with organisations to meet objectives.
• Undertake directed project work.
• Organise workload for quality service.
• Stay updated through professional development.
• Assist in training and manage staff.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Uphold the organisation's reputation and perform other duties as required.

The Person:

• Hold a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Officer's Registration Board or hold a qualification acceptable to the Board, that is, Diploma in Environmental Health awarded by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
• Valid Driving license and access to own vehicle.
