Estimator

Energis is working with a busy manufacturing company who have an exciting background in delivering bespoke projects across a range of sectors throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.

They now have a requirement for an additional Estimator to join the team. All levels of experience will be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with either previous estimating experience OR someone with the relevant skills looking to move into an estimating role. Full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, hire companies and internal departments etc to produce accurate and detailed quotations and tender submissions.
• Attend site visits and briefings to gain an understanding of the client’s requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and sales team.
• Contact customer to follow up on quotations and other enquiries within a set time period.
• Determine price strategies for each client and support the sales teams in their negotiations to win contracts, whilst ensuring the best price is achieved.
• Forecast upcoming work in order to support sales and production functions.
• Monitor and record customer specification history
• Build solid working relationships with key customers in target markets

Criteria:

• HNC /HND in Engineering / Construction qualification OR previous relevant industry experience
• Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• Results focused individual with the ability to work on own initiative.
• An excellent proficiency of Excel.

Salary on offer is in the region of £23 -28k depending upon experience.
