Purchasing Assistant - 30k - Toomebridge

VANRATH are thrilled to be assisting one of our major clients in Creagh with the recruitment of a Assistant Buyer to join their expanding team.

This role will be based in the Creagh - Toomebridge.

This is a Monday - Friday. Permanent opportunity.

Salary - £30,000

Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers and negotiate best buying prices
• Work to within specified lead times
• Organise supplier rebates
• Raise purchase orders
• Receipt incoming goods
• Complete three way match process
• Responsibility for stock take on 3 sites
• Responsible for MRP system
• Process internal requisitions
• Procurement of materials from BOM

Essential Criteria:

• Experience within a construction environment
• Experience working with an MRP system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel
• Excellent organisational skills
• Work well on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Criteria:

• Sage 200 experience
