Daily Rate: £300-350 (Inside IR35)
Contract Initially 6-9 months with the option to extend
Location: Hybrid, based in Belfast

Position Summary: As a QA/Test Analyst, you will be instrumental in planning, defining tests, and ensuring sufficient test coverage against requirements. You will create test cases, manage testing cycles, identify test issues, and report risks. Reporting to the Testing Services Manager, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently create test cases and prepare for reviews.
• Manage testing cycles, provide guidance to testers, and collate feedback.
• Take ownership of testing delivery within predefined timelines.
• Identify test issues, report risks, and define regression tests.
• Serve as an escalation point for testing issues within the project team.
• Document and present test results.
• Update project plans and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience in QA/Test Analyst role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good self-management and client-facing skills.
• Understanding of common software failures and faults.

Desirable Skills:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
