The Role:

The IT Service Manager performs a critical role managing our IT Services within a large complex technical environment. The Service Manager will be responsible for service performance, stakeholder relationships and liaising with multiple suppliers to ensure continuous service improvement on a daily basis.

·        Communication of expectations and responsibilities of all parties (users and providers) involved in IT Service management processes.

·        Develop strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.

·        Monitor and review availability of IT systems and supplier performance taking steps to hold the supplier to account when necessary.

·        Develop and maintain the IT Service standards, policies and principles; and ensure compliance.

Criteria:

1.      Can demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience within the last 5 years in an IT Service Manager role within a large organisation.

2.      Can demonstrate a broad understanding of enterprise-level technology.

3.      Can demonstrate experience of managing a team including planning, prioritising and managing resources within a collaborative team-based environment.
