Cpl are sourcing for a Communications and Engagement Executive on behalf of a Premier Energy/Utilities organisation headquartered in Belfast. The post holder will support the Communications and Engagement Lead and Head of Communications and Engagement with the delivery of communications and engagement functions. This includes corporate communications, media relations, digital communications, website, events management, branding, sponsorships and CSR, internal communications and team support functions.
The multi-disciplinary role will primarily be in a supporting capacity, but the successful candidate will have significant opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills and experience across all communications disciplines and through a range of strategic projects.
This role will be ideal for a candidate who is a creative, passionate communicator who wants to develop their communications career. Responsibilities
• Supporting the Senior Communications and Engagement Lead in the delivery of Communications and Engagement Strategy.
• Developing and scheduling digital content for channels.
• Managing and updating the company website.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of internal and external events and strategic stakeholder engagement.
• Supporting the delivery of strategic partnerships and CSR events.
• Supporting the development and delivery of internal communications strategy including employee initiatives and newsletters.
• Creating graphics and other digital content using a range of software packages such as Adobe InDesign, Canva and Hootsuite.
• Attending external exhibitions and events as an ambassador for as required.
• Identifying creative opportunities to grow external communications and brand profile.
• Maintaining key planners and tracking documents such as communications plans and event trackers.
• Monitoring and reporting on digital marketing activities.


Ideal Candidate
• A third level qualification in a related discipline (such as digital marketing, public relations, journalism; or 1 year+ experience working in a relevant communications or marketing role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the communications industry and the various communications disciplines.
• Passion and flair for communications and writing.
• Ability to manage time effectively, organise work and achieve objectives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
