Requirements
- Previous experience essential
- Particular experience with homelessness and drug abuse beneficial
- A compassionate and caring nature when dealing with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent team player along with the ability to work independently when required
- NISCC registered or willing to become registered
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities, personal care, and hygiene
- Address homelessness while supporting clients in securing and maintaining safe and stable housing
- Provide assistance and resources to clients dealing with drug abuse, including connecting them with relevant services
- Offer emotional and psychological support to clients
- Keep accurate records of client's progress and report any changes or concerns
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
