VANRATH are currently working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading public sector employers, based in the city centre. They are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis to assist with the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts. The Management Accountant, will take responsibility for liaising with budget holders, monitoring income & expenditure and providing variance analysis on monthly forecasts. To be considered for this role, it is essential to have previous working experience in a management accounting environment, alongside having intermediate MS Excel skills.

Although this role is initially advertised for an interim period of 6 months, there is a strong possibility that the successful candidate will be provided the option to secure a longer-term contract. The organisation are renowned for providing contractors the opportunity to apply for permanent posts.

About you

• Part-Qualified Accountant (minimum of foundation level completed) Fully Qualified
• Strong MS Excel capabilities
• Management accounts experience
• Excellent analytic skills
• Available at short notice
