Regional Sales Manager - US
Our client, a locally owned and highly
successful company, has been serving the international agricultural community
for over 40 years. The company has established a great international reputation
through the provision of unique and innovative conservation packaging products
for agriculture and various industrial applications.
Operating through a strong network of
distributors across more than 30 countries, the company is positioned for
significant international growth. With a major manufacturing facility in the
US, it identifies considerable sales growth potential across key American
states. We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to capitalise on these
market opportunities. The role will be based in Northern Ireland with travel to
the US market approximately 6 to 8 times per year.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a
pivotal role within the company's commercial sales function, assuming ownership
of the US market. Key responsibilities include:

Developing
and managing key distributor relationships to maximise sales across the product
portfolio.

Assessing
and quantifying market potential while using the company’s CRM platforms to
identify, monitor and convert opportunities into sales success. This includes
providing insights that will inform future product development and identify new
market opportunities.

Collaborating
with the Head of International Sales and the team of in-market sales
professionals to maximise the company’s presence at international shows and
customer events. Additionally, contribute to company-wide marketing initiatives
and promotion strategies aimed at strengthening brand equity.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the
following:

A strong
sales-driven and commercial mindset with at least 5 years of senior sales
management experience, including experience selling within the US.

The
ability to assess and quantify market potential, coupled with the drive to
convert opportunities into successful sales.
·
Flexibility
to travel to the US 6-8 times per year.
·
Our ideal
candidate will have experience within the packaging industry or in a sector
where products are sold through networks of local distributors.
