- THE ROLE -

The postholder will contribute to teaching, research, enterprise and business engagement for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Animation with a focus on creative and commercial practices. They will undertake administrative duties related to undergraduate and postgraduate animation programmes and engage in high quality research activities.

The postholder will provide teaching and academic support on BA Animation, Year 0 (Foundation in Art and Design) and related programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to an outstanding student experience at Ulster University’s Belfast School of Art in preparation for industry relevant specialisation and progression into professional life.

- ABOUT YOU -

- Hold a Masters Qualification (MA/MFA/MDes) in Animation, Visual Communication, Art History or equivalent.
OR
- A first or upper second-class honours degree in Animation, Visual Communication, or equivalent and significant experience.

- Have previous experience of teaching and assessment of Animation History and Theory in higher education.
- Have extensive training / experience in / knowledge of a wide range of Animation practices and methods, particularly in a creative and commercial context
