We are seeking a Finance Team Leader for our public sector client in Ballymena
Hours: Monday & Friday 9am-5pm, 37.5hrs a week
Pay: £12.86 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:
KEY RESULT AREAS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the accuracy, and issue of, applicable invoices in respect of rent, rates, accommodation
charges, pharmacy supplies, private patients, Category II, etc.
- Ensure a central register of all charges is maintained and kept up to date, liaising with relevant
internal staff as necessary.
- Assist in the oversight of debt writes offs including the processing of paperwork and updating of
controls.
- Ensure applicable receipts and payments are processed, ensuring adherence and maintenance of
associated controls, as necessary.
- Assist with year end process, as necessary, including the production of the Losses Statement and
other applicable analysis.
- Ensure applicable system uploads/downloads, payment runs, etc, are carried out ensuring there is
appropriate oversight, as necessary.
- Ensure key controls in respect of accidents involving Trust vehicles are in place and maintained, to
include liaison with relevant Trust staff, as necessary.
- Ensure key controls in respect of accidents, such as Road Traffic Accidents, etc, including
calculating costs to, and liaison with, the Compensation Recovery Unit are in place, and
maintained.
Essential Criteria
Demonstrate 3 years relevant* finance experience.
OR
Certificate for Accounting Technicians (ATI)
or equivalent (QCF Level 4) with 1 years
relevant* finance experience.
