As the lead technical buyer on multiple projects, you’ll be
responsible for procurement of Electrical technical plant and materials
selection. Working closely with the head of procurement, liaise with various
teams, including Design, Estimating, Commercial, Operations, Preconstruction,
and finance to ensure the smooth transition of all technical orders. Your role
involves requesting and reviewing quotes, issuing and gaining approval of
Technical Submittals, keeping budgets updated, and updating the wider group on
progress through trackers and progress meetings.
Responsibilities:

Analyse & establish cost parameters against
budgets for Plant & equipment including Lights and accessories purchases
and sub-packages to ensure best value has been achieved.

Create and maintain good relationships with
manufactures/suppliers.
·
Make professional decisions.
·
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, draw
offs, and other important data relating to the project.
·
Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers,
supply, and price options.
·
Use the current systems for purchasing
equipment, services, and supplies.
·
Negotiate the best deal whilst considering the
whole supply chain.
·
Ensure that the products and supplies are high
quality and delivered on time.
·
Maintain and update a list of suppliers,
delivery times, and mitigate against delays.
·
Work with team members design mangers and Head
of technical buying to complete duties as needed.

Proficient computer skills-Microsoft Office
(Excel)

over the line.
