This appointment is a part-time, temporary position for a member of staff to teach Physics to A Level. The role will commence in August 2024 until June 2025 working two days per week on a job share basis. One of the days is set as Friday.

At Campbell College, all boys study Junior Science in Years 8 and 9 and Physics, as one of three separate science disciplines, in Year 10. At GCSE Level, Physics is offered as a separate GCSE subject and as part of both Double Award and Single Award Science. For the most part, science staff primarily teach their own specialism; however, some flexibility may be required at KS3. There are usually two AS and two A2 Physics classes in Years 13 and 14 respectively. The department is currently staffed by three full-time and one part-time teacher, operating out of three laboratories co-located in one building, and supported by a dedicated Physics technician.
