A272 Customer Adviser (Part time)

Salary: SCP 24-26, currently £33,024 - £34,834 gross per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 20 per week, Permanent

Closing date: Tuesday 7th May 2024 at 12.00 noon.

Established in 1978 and working with our partners in government, we have transformed affordable housing across Northern Ireland. Our vision is to use our expertise in affordable home ownership solutions to provide as many eligible households as we can with an opportunity to own their own home. Our mission is to build on the 30,000 affordable homes we have already provided through Co-Ownership and also develop new and innovative products in response to the changing demands within the market as a result of economic changes.

We wish to appoint a Customer Adviser who will work within a multi-skilled customer services team and deliver exceptional customer service. They will be responsible for first point of contact resolution for our customers and will have excellent communication skills.

Essential Criteria:

  • Educated to A-Level standard or higher (or equivalent), with GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a customer centric environment, delivering customer service excellence, to include phone contact, face-to-face contact, through digital channels and offering single point of contact resolution OR a minimum of 4 years’ experience without qualification.
  • Previous experience of complaints handling.
  • Previous experience of digital filing and scanning.
  • Effective communication skills, to include active listening, verbal, written, numerical and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated able to plan, prioritise and have strong organisational skills including working to challenging deadlines and under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
