Control Panel Design Engineer

Your new company
Our client is one of the largest Controls Systems Houses in Ireland offering a wide range of market leading products including the installation of smart controls to manage lighting, heating, refrigeration and other specialist energy equipment. Due to continued success, this company is recruiting a BMS Control Panel Design Engineer.

Your new role

• To take the customers engineering requirements and design bespoke control panels that can be manufactured in an efficient manner.
• Liaising with Mechanical & Electrical Contractors on a regular basis.
• Create electrical schematics to allow the manufacturing team to build the BMS panels.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience of working within one of the following – HVAC, BMS or Process control.
• Previous experience of electrical design and engineering.
• Working knowledge of CAD drawing packages (Eplans, Promis, Solidworks electrical etc).
• To be able to create schematic drawings that can be manufactured including systems test and fault finding.
• Previous experience of control and instrumentation design would be an advantage.
• To be able to work to tight timescales to deliver projects on time and within budget.
