Senior Energy Policy Officer
Salary: £32,880 - £34,011

The Consumer Council is recruiting for a Senior Energy Policy Officer, to join our Infrastructure & Sustainability Directorate.
Reporting to the Head of Energy Policy, you will work with colleagues across the organisation, and key stakeholders, to deliver the objectives of our Corporate Plan against statutory and non-statutory functions.
As a Senior Energy Policy Officer, you will:
- Contribute to the design of a programme of work each year;
- Play a vital role in delivering the annual programme of work;
- Create and maintain a collaborative working relationship within the Consumer Council and outside of the organisation with a range of stakeholders;
- Manage individual projects, producing robust evidence so credible policy recommendations can be made to stakeholders; and
- Pursue these policy recommendations to improve consumer outcomes.
The Senior Energy Policy Officer will support the CEO, Board, Directors and Leadership Team to deliver against the organisation’s mission, values and Corporate Plan.
