Quality Inspector

A company with 40 years experience as one of the most successful manufacturers of their products across the UK. Due to their success they have a requirement to increase their quality team.

Your new role
As Quality Inspector you will be preventing errors in manufacturing or production that lead to product defects and testing products extensively before their release.
Carrying out inspections and tests on products and ensuring they meet requirements of customer specifications and in-house Quality Standards.
Complete all required inspection and testing records, as applicable. Record all non-conformances on non-Conforming log. To identify product requiring scrapping and report to Yard Manager and Directors on decision to scrap. Carrying out inspection of all reworked products prior to release. Partake in establishing ROOT CAUSE of problems.

Hours of work:
7am - 3.30pm Mon - Thurs

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have experience or knowledge of working with precast concrete products, knowledge of quality, quality assurance, inspection and checking. Ability to interpret technical drawings. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and good numerical and analytical skills.
