We are recruiting a proactive applicant with excellent organizational skills to join the Sensata Vehicle team in Antrim.

Reporting to the EMC and Radio Type Approvals Team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating products to gain worldwide approval.

Your main responsibilities will be to deliver the necessary certificates for products to our national markets.


General Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and status reports.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and bringing solutions/opportunities.
  • Track and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Assists in performing risk management to minimize project risks.


Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors’ degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.


Additional Job Description

Specific Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively working with outside venders to facilitate certification efforts.
  • Coordinating internal teams to maintain technical documentation used for certification.
  • Maintaining internal certification databases.
  • Tracking and documenting legislative changes.
  • Benchmarking vendors for cost and quality.
  • Reporting project updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Delegating where appropriate, along with follow-up.
  • Identifying risks that may impact internal and external project milestones.


Specific Experience

  • Previous experience of managing projects.
  • Experience of working in an engineering/technical environment.
