VANRATH have partnered with Ireland's largest motorhome dealers. The client is seeking to hire a Coachbuilder for the expanding business.

Due to continued growth and expansion we have the need to hire a Coachbuilder for the Magheralin site.

No previous experience of Motorhomes or Caravans is required as full training will be given, although coming from a Fitting, Joinery, Mechanical or Plumbing background would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the assembly of a variety of mechanical systems
  • Assembling a variety of materials and components to the vehicles as part of the production process
  • Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and hand tools
  • Assembling the product in line with assembly drawings
  • Participation in continuous improvement teams and initiatives
  • Responsible for complying with the H&S, policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that work carried out is up to the set company standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with
  • Moving between several operations whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency
  • Must be prepared to work overtime when requested by management
  • Undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes including the training of others.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Have a full valid driving licence, an NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • Have previous Coachbuilding / fitting / joinery / mechanical / plumbing experience.
  • Methodical and process driven
  • Able to complete tasks within given timeframes
  • Able to routinely follow established procedures
  • Must be fluent in English and be able to write competently
  • Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually
  • Able to adapt to the company's needs in the way we deliver our service
  • Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work
  • Clean driving license
