Company Accountant (Dungannon)

VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a successful organisation within the construction industry based in Dungannon who are recruiting a Company Accountant to join their business for an initial 6-month contract. This is a new role to assist the wider finance team but there is an excellent chance of being made permanent.

The Company Accountant will take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts, including preparation & posting of journals, VAT returns and general accounts administration.

This is an exciting role that will allow the successful candidate to gain system implementation experience, to build out their experience.

About you

• Part-Qualified/Qualified by Experience Accountant
• Knowledge of all aspects of transactional finance
• Strong communication skills
• Experience of an ERP implementation (desirable)

What you’ll do

• Prepare monthly management accounts to Trial Balance
• Manage the purchase & sales ledger
• Cost accounting
• Prepare and post journals
