The Contracts Manager will join the Belfast Stories Team and manage the professional services teams appointed to deliver this ambitious project. Acting as the day-to-day client representative, the Contracts Manager will support the Belfast Stories Management and Assurance Team (MAT) in the contract management of the Integrated Design Team (IDT) and Experience Design Team (EDT) throughout the design and planning process, including the procurement of the main contractor and specialist contractors including those providing fixtures and fittings packages. The Contracts Manager will ensure there are processes in place for the management of the interfaces and performance of the Client Design Teams, contractors, advisors, and other service providers engaged to deliver the project.

On a day-to-day basis the postholder will report primarily to the Programme Director, Belfast Stories, Belfast City Council. As a SIB employee, the Contracts Manager will also have a reporting line back to SIB to the Head of its Council Support Unit.
