Finance Manager – Omagh £50,000 - £60,000

Reed Finance is partnered with a thriving commercial client in Omagh, in the appointment of a fully qualified and experienced Finance Manager, on a permanent and full-time basis.
Working closely with the senior management team, this is a critical new role for our client, and will include staff management & development responsibilities. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the service delivery, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance with regulations.
This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment
- Overseeing the financial reporting processes for various key projects (UK & ROI) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Providing financial guidance, reviewing, adjusting, and improving processes where necessary to ensure maximum efficiency
- Collaborating with the group CFO to develop and implement strategies for optimising financial performance and mitigating risks
- Maintaining composure and focus while navigating challenging situations or unexpected changes, adapting strategies as needed to achieve objectives without compromising quality or accuracy
- Address all aspects of relevant sector tax compliance (both UK and ROI) staying abreast of relevant regulations and implementing necessary procedures
- Work with commercial & project delivery teams to manage cash flow for various projects, forecasting requirements and optimising liquidity to support project objectives
Essential criteria.
- All applicants must be a fully Qualified Accountant (CAI, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- You will offer a minimum of 6 + years post qualified experience
- Previous experience of working at Finance Manager level
- Demonstrable experience of continuous improvement
- Proven experience of managing teams in a growing business
- Experience in mentoring & managing staff
