Our
client is a market leading and highly respected fire safety consultancy based
in County Antrim. Due to their strategic and operational growth strategy and
future business needs, they now wish to recruit a commercially focused Practice/Commercial
Manager to help grow the company to the next level and beyond.
As

in the next 2-5 years.
BRIEF
ROLE SUMMARY
- Project management responsibilities for
the delivery of fire engineering and other building risk management projects,
within the full RIBA Work Stages and existing buildings and legacy portfolios.
- Working with colleagues, you will
design, communicate, and document fire engineering projects and interface
closely with the client’s design team.
- You will be involved in delivering
design fire strategy projects within a variety of building portfolios and be
able to technically support the fire risk assessment workstream.
- Support the Director in implementing the
company business plan, which includes expanding the fire safety business
capability in fire strategy engineering, building inspection, fire risk
assessments, fire safety training, fire evacuation plans, and fire extinguisher
installation.
- You will support existing clients and
develop new opportunities, alongside the expansion of team capabilities and
capacity.
- Provide strong leadership to the fire
engineering team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work
environment.
- Design and implement training programs
for team members to enhance their technical skills, industry knowledge, and
project management capabilities.
THE
PERSON
- Educated to a degree level in a related
discipline and aspiring to reach Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post grad experience
working in Ireland and UK-based fire safety engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and
motivational leader with a strong interest in training and developing people.
- Strong commercial focus and awareness
and the drive to help grow the business.
- Demonstrable experience in fire safety
engineering within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrable fire engineering/strategy
experience in Ireland and UK-based residential and mixed-use developments.
- Full Member of the Institution of Fire
Engineers (MIFireE).
SALARY
A highly attractive, market
competitive salary based on experience within the range of £60k+ will be on
offer to the successful candidate. The base salary is negotiable and will
depend on experience and what the person can bring to the role.
In addition, there will be an
opportunity to earn a regular yearly performance bonus.
