As a Chartered Tax Manager you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax advice and solutions.. With a focus on corporate tax matters, you will lead and manage tax compliance and advisory projects, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and value.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of tax clients, providing strategic tax planning and advisory services.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Advise clients on complex tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and international tax planning.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for tax optimisation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver integrated solutions, including audit, accounting, and financial advisory services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique tax needs and objectives.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • About you

    • Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification or equivalent.
    • Extensive experience in corporate tax, preferably within a reputable accountancy practice.
    • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation, regulations, and case law.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
    • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
