As a Chartered Tax Manager you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax advice and solutions.. With a focus on corporate tax matters, you will lead and manage tax compliance and advisory projects, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and value.
What you will do
Lead and manage a portfolio of tax clients, providing strategic tax planning and advisory services.Oversee the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.Advise clients on complex tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and international tax planning.Conduct tax research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for tax optimisation.Collaborate with other team members to deliver integrated solutions, including audit, accounting, and financial advisory services.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique tax needs and objectives.Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.About you
- Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in corporate tax, preferably within a reputable accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation, regulations, and case law.
- Proven track record of successfully managing corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
