Our client is a local company with a global customer base. They manufacture world class heavy plant machinery used in the mining and quarrying industry. With over 25 years experience manufacturing machinery, they have placed themselves as a house hold name within the industry.

What you’ll do

• Daily meetings with the production planner to organise and prioritise jobs and cover any issues or delays
• Lead a team of up to 20 employees
• Documenting ECR notes, record changes to production, technical support in processes
• Product manufacturing development to make processes as smooth and efficient as possible
• Overall supervision of production employees
• Drive the quality standards
• Allocating work to the production employees
• Responsibility for induction processes
• Opening and closing of the factory

About you

• 2-3 years experience at supervisory level in a manufacturing/engineering environment
• A confident leader with experience of leading teams of 15-20 people
• Have the ability to resolve problems and be adaptable to change
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must have hands on Engineering experience
