Accountant

Accountant - £4 - £45000 per annum – Belfast

Your new company
My client is a growing business looking to add to their finance team to enable succession planning. Having doubled in size over the last few years, they are very supportive employers and have a valuable service. I would know the Financial Controller well, and they have a natural tendency to support and nurture new talent and would allow the successful candidate to develop.

Your new role
You will join an established accounting team that supports the business to make decisions and grow.

• Managing the accounts' preparation for multiple businesses
• Reconciling and submitting quarterly VAT Returns
• Monitor bank and credit card accounts and assist with cash forecasting
• Monthly reconciliation of Group Intercompany Balances
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Conducting Revenue Assurance reviews
• Support in Annual audits
• Other general financial duties as determined by business needs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with good technical experience and have the desire to grow and develop. You will have strong IT skills, and you will work in a busy accountancy department.
