Social Housing Manager
Our client is a fast-growing company, with a passion for improving
indoor air quality with their innovative and sustainable ventilation products. They are seeking a highly motivated and
skilled Social Housing Manager to join their team.
The role
As a Social Housing
Manager/Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for fully managing and developing the fast-growing
Social Housing customer base. The working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
and the role is Hybrid however there will be travel required across NI to existing
residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Regular visits to existing
residential properties throughout Northern Ireland to survey for issues of
damp, mould and condensation and report back on findings and recommendations to
alleviate the issues uncovered.
- · Offer advice to tenants on how to
reduce these problems and also demonstrate the correct use of existing or newly
installed systems, where required.
- · You will set your own schedule and
manage your diary to ensure the team are responding to all survey requests
within set timeframes as well as providing support and advice to various
Housing Associations. This will require organising and attending conferences,
workshops, CPD’s, site meetings and other events.
- · Working closely with the Installations
Co-ordinator to ensure that all Housing Association installations are
prioritised and managed in accordance with deadlines and within the contracted
framework.
Criteria
Essential:
- · 3rd Level qualification (degree or
similar) or 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- · Proficient in all MS programs and
a sound understanding of I.T generally, including CRM systems.
- · A full clean Driving licence is
required.
Desirable:
- · A recognised qualification in
building surveying, e.g. Certified Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in
Buildings (CSTDB) or a willingness to enrol in order to achieve this level of
qualification, supported by the company.
