Manufacturing Engineer
Based in the Dungannon area my client is a leading quarry
equipment manufacturing company who manufacture products for the global market.
They are one of the most desirable companies to work for in Northern Ireland
and they are currently seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to
support the planning, organization and direction of projects, from concept
through to design, prototype, manufacturing and commissioning. On offer is a
salary of £32,000 - £35,000, bonus, pension, private healthcare, market
leading holidays, 38 hour week and an early finish every Friday.
Role - Manufacturing Engineer
·
Plan,
coordinate and implement the most efficient and cost-effective production
methods required to manufacture major sub-components and final assembly of
machines.

Coordinate
with production, engineering and quality assurance departments to establish /
implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.
·
Implementing
best practice standard work on shop floor to improve safety and quality
and maximise efficiency.
·
Review
BOMs and highlight any discrepancies with the BOM team.
·
Provide
production support to all areas within the business within the defined site.
·
New
product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes
and production launch.
·
Coordinate
and lead time studies and production layouts in conjunction with the production
teams.

The successful applicant should be
educated to HND/Degree standard and have experience working as a Manufacturing
Engineer with a manufacturing environment.
