Manufacturing Engineer
Based in the Omagh area my client is a successful forward
thinking engineering / manufacturing company who sell products to the global
market. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing
Engineer and they are open to looking at applicants with all levels of
manufacturing engineering experience. This is a brand new additional role that
has been created due to expansion so it’s a great time to join a company who is
offering secure long term employment. On offer is a salary of £35,000 - £40,000, a level of hybrid
working is also available, pension, healthcare, bonus and a lunchtime finish
every Friday.
Role - Manufacturing Engineer

Plan, coordinate and implement the most efficient
and cost-effective production methods required
to manufacture major
sub-components and final assembly of machines.
·
Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality
assurance departments to establish
/ implement
containment and route cause
fixes to manufacturing issues.
·
Implementing best practice standard work on shop floor to improve
safety and quality and maximise efficiency.
·
Review BOMs and highlight any discrepancies with the BOM team.
·
Provide production support to all areas within the business within the defined site.
·
New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews,
establishing processes, production launch.
·
Coordinate and lead time studies
and production layouts in conjunction with the production teams.
·
Provide Lean Manufacturing training and coaching
where required across their assigned
site.
