Our client, based in Belfast are looking for an Admin Officer to join their team
Job Description:
- Objective: New cases: Manage own performance to achieve Performance targets
Key Output New / Review Cases
• Check that applications they have been fully completed.
• Upon receipt of completed application form, 80% of Police Reports to be requested within 3 working days, the remainder within 5 working days.
• If Police report not received, to issue a reminder for Police Report followed by a concern letter/Call to OCMT.
• When Police Report received Check CRV and Input CR to the case, within 3 working days within 99% accuracy
• Case note re C/R checks and if app an offender or not, check for Previous/Duplicate applications (TBC).
• Upon receipt of final piece of evidence if the case is not Level 1(AO), pass to Level 2/3 (EO1/SO) caseworkers within 10 working days
• Aim To action approximately 40 Police reports per month, (to be reviewed to reflect 38% of new cases cases).
• AO's to seek guidance from EO1 where necessary
If required, ensure that all payments are approved/authorised within 3 working days of receipt (TBC)
• Telephone Calls - To ensure that all telephone queries are dealt with within 48 hours in line with Compensation Services policy
• To respond to 95% of all general correspondence received which requires a response within 10 working days, the remainder within 15 working days.
• To always advise line management when worklist is up to date.
• To progress workflow for all claims assigned to me with a view to passing to relevant caseworker at the earliest opportunity.
Complaint/Compliments
• To log and acknowledge complaints received within 1 day of receipt and to coordinate responses to be issued within the 15 day response time.
Data Breaches/Incident Reporting
• Liaise with Information Security Branch/line manager in relation to any Data Breaches/Incidents. (keeping a record of all breaches on Records Manager
Hybrid working Model
Compensation Services operates a hybrid working policy in line with NICS guidance, the post holder will be required to attend the office as part of a rota, or as determined by business needs.
• Adhere to all relevant office policies on all days when working from home.
• To be available during working hours for emails and phone calls via Jabber.
• To keep line manager fully appraised of tasks undertaken during periods of home working.
OTHER DUTIES
• All other duties as required of the post in order to provide the appropriate support for the business.

Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs Including Maths & English (Must have certificate Proof)
- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Must go through a CTC (County Terrorism Check)
Duration Of Placement:
- Approximate duration 6 months (possible extension)
Work Pattern:
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm but flexible working hours is available
- No leave allowed in July.
