Our client, based in Belfast is looking for an Admin Officer to join their team

Job Description:

- Working within Department for Communities in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, this role will deliver services for vulnerable customers who are based in Great Britain and who are seeking assistance with Budgeting Loans.? Full training will be provided.? The role will primarily involve telephony and there will also be an element of claims processing. Main duties and essential skills may include, while not limited to:

· Effective call handling and excellent customer service skills;

· Good verbal and written communication skills;

· Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers;

· - Ability to work within and contribute to a team environment;

- Ability to work accurately within specific deadlines and to achieve relevant targets;

- Basic IT skills / computer literacy with an aptitude for learning new systems;

· - Organised with good time management skills;

- Excellent interpersonal skills;

- Excellent work ethic with a desire to personally develop; and

- Excellent attendance and time keeping.

These roles are full-time, office based.? Working from home may become available in the future.

Wage:

- £11.99ph (weekly) increasing to £12.36ph in April

Essential Criteria:

- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English graded A-C (Must have certificate Proof)

- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel

- Good communication skills

- Ability to use own initiative

Location:

- Great Northern Tower, Great Victoria Street, Belfast

Start Date:

- 4th April 2024

- Induction and Technical training will take place virtually on site

- Training times will be 09:00 to 17:00 each day, and be paid at a basic 37 hour week

Duration of Placement:

- 51 weeks, possible extension depending on performance

Work Pattern:

- Post is based on an 8am to 8pm working pattern Monday to Friday and a requirement to work every fourth Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Jobholder will be required to work a variety of patterns between 8am and 8pm.DWP business areas in Northern Ireland adhere to Great Britain Easter Public Holidays and jobholder will be required to observe Easter Public Holidays of Good Friday and Easter Monday.
